Stuck in a rut

Do you want to grow old and be stuck in a rut?

Is that where your life’s going to end?

You could go to the One who would set you free

Now that’s where your life could begin.

You don’t want to be like a bird in a cage that never knew he could fly.

There were trees he could live in and winds he could soar

And rainbows to see in the sky.

Heaven help us, I pray, if we end up that way and miss the life God has planned.

So kick open that door and get out of that cage and fly like a bird in the wind.

There are songs to be sung and work to be done that only you can do.

The rut is the place where you’ll see His grace…look up; He’ll rescue you.

Life will get better; things will get brighter when you put your hope in Him.

He takes all of our ruts and buries them up to make sure that we don’t fall in.

So if I’m stuck in a rut, don’t feel sorry for me; there’s only one thing I can do.

I will look to the One who can set me free…He will do the same for you.

Now hear the moral of this story and this is where we will end

If you live for yourself, you will die in your rut, so why not just live for Him?

I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any tips and hints for novice blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.”
